Photography feels like home to me! I was born and raised in Saskatchewan but have had the privilege to live throughout our beautiful country thanks to my first career in the Canadian Forces. I am presently residing in Edgeley Saskatchewan, NE of Regina. I graduated from Western Academy of Photography located in Victoria, BC in the Professional Photographer Program in 2007 and the Advanced Visual Communication Program in 2008. My passion for photographs has been a constant in my life although I was usually on the viewing end rather than behind the camera. I can still remember what it felt like waiting for that Polaroid to finish processing and my Dad slowly peeling away the image; there it was, a memory, a moment, right there on that piece of processed paper. I loved where the images took me, be it down memory lane, to far off places yet to be explored, or family ancients whom I would never meet but was able to feel kin to just by holding their picture. It is all those wonderful feelings and thrills of imagery that helped me to achieve my goal of becoming a photographer. Even though I am not waiting to see the image, thanks to digital, I still get excited about the outcome at every click of the shutter.
